Hello.

The project I’m currently working on is nearly finished. I just have to finish the documentation and it’s done.

My next project would be a School Library Management Application. I’ve done this before but it was way back when I used tables for the design. I used to code in a very dirty manner. I’m planning to apply my learnings on Object-Oriented PHP in this project.

I’m planning to finish it before classes start so that I could start another project. I’m pretty excited for this one. I’m publishing the working application online and most probably donate the code and system to Pisay in Davao.

It’s all systems go after I finish my current project’s documentation.

Hey guys!

This morning, I decided to cram a web application. What I did was I recompiled the list of UP Diliman Incoming Freshmen who confirmed their slots. Since the original list can’t be viewed by course, I filled the gaps.

Then, something came in to my mind. Why not make it a directory? So I added a feature where users can add contact details to their name.

The web app is XHTML 1.0 Transitional Valid.

Here is the link to the web app (2008 UP Diliman Incoming Freshmen).

Hey,

As you’ve noticed this is my first time to apply a not unique theme for a serious blog. Yes, I did the coding for my other blogs.

When I use a theme, I always keep it in mind that it is valid on some set standards, at least XHTML 1.0 Transitional. When I first validated this one, it was not valid so I decided to validify it.

Here’s how.

  1. Go to an online validator app. I use this one from the W3 Consortium website.
  2. Put your blog’s URL on the text field.
  3. Then click Validate.
  4. If it is not valid, it will dump out the errors. Read every error and correct them. If not, you’ll see a wonderful screen saying your blog is VALID.

Here’s a proof that this blog is valid:

It’s worth it to validify!

Hey folks,

I’ve thought of a niche for this blog already. This will be my blog as an amateur web applications developer. I’ll log my works, my new learnings and tips in this weblog.

I hope this would be a successful attempt. Later, I’ll be putting my mini-portfolio.

Keep an eye to this blog. :D

Yey, welcome to my newest blog, Gigantic Orange.

I admit I bought the domain by boredom. Just have fun. Putting some content very soon.

Good luck to me.
